decorative art
I describe some of my artworks as decorative art because their focus lies entirely on emotions. This style could also be understood as “emotional art.” An “inner flow” is shaped by impressions and moods. These paintings emerge from an attempt to connect inner levels with the metaphysics of the moment and to capture this connection within the artwork. This explains why these pieces remain timeless in their power and impact. Some of these paintings, which have been hanging in my space for years, still bring me great joy.

“harmony”
No. 332, 2003, oil on canvas, 50 x 70cm, framed
This artwork is privately owned.

“Die Klangnuance” / “The Tone Nuance”
No. 408, 2009, 80 x 80 cm, mixed on canvas, framed
This painting was created in multiple layers, combining various techniques with dispersion, acrylic, and oil painting. It conveys a sense of energy and transformation, which is also reflected in the title “Klangnuance” (Tone Nuance). The central sphere, glowing in warm shades of orange, yellow, and white, appears to radiate light and warmth, symbolizing vitality or creation. The upward-moving, twisting, flame-like structure emerging from the sphere suggests movement, growth, or continuity – much like in music.
